The Gold Medal is not just a prize, it is also a recommendation of the experts for the presented products and a promotional strategy that begins at the MTP Grupa Expo.
The competition is supposed to promote features such as Innovation, ingenuity and modernity. Any products and services that stand out in the market as a result of their qualitative, technological and utilitarian values can be submitted to the competition.
A DOUBLE "YES" TO INNOVATION
GOLD MEDAL - EXPERTS' AWARD
Every year almost 500 products take part in the competition of the Grupa MTP for the Gold Medal. However, only products that meet the statutory criteria and obtain a positive recommendation of the professional jury will receive this prestigious award. The Competition Jury, i.e., a team of experts including eminent specialists representing the relevant fields of the economy, is looking for modern, innovative products and products based on state of the art technologies. The Gold Medal is therefore a confirmation of product excellence and, consequently, an element of its promotion on the market.
GOLD MEDAL - CONSUMERS CHOICE
After the Competition Jury reaches a verdict and the Gold Medals are awarded to the selected products, the next stage of the competition begins. Since 2012, the representatives of the industry and consumers may also cast their votes for the best product of the trade fair in a separate competition entitled "Gold Medal – Consumers' Choice". Voting is carried out on the www.zlotymedal.pl website and using interactive touch screens located in the Champions' Zones set up specifically for this purpose. The Zones are located in halls 3 and 5 and in the passage by hall 7A. The "Gold Medal - Consumers' Choice" title is awarded to the winner one month after the end of the trade fair, following an earlier summary of the vote results.
